John experience also includes 12 years of leadership in Christian higher education administration as Vice President for Advancement at Toccoa Falls College and the Baptist College of Florida.
Additionally, John has served in several denomination leadership positions including the Florida Baptist Convention's State Board of Missions, as well as numerous association leadership positions.

John is recently married to Teresa after losing Wanda, his wife of 30 years, to Lymphoma. He has 5 children; Amanda, Andrew, Rebecca, John Mark, and Joshua. In addition they have five grandchildren Benjamin, Regina, Aaron, Bristol, and Noah.
